Ninth circuit affirms class action status in Wal-Mart case

The U.S. Ninth Circuit has affirmed the district court's approval of class action status for plaintiffs in Dukes V. Wal-Mart, an employment discrimination lawsuit that claims the company discriminated against women in compensation and promotion opportunities in violation of Title VII.
